Prevest Hemostal Gel Hemostatic Agent Hemostatic Gel is 25% buffered aluminium chloride thixotropic, non dripping gel for stopping minor gingival bleeding during restorative procedures, placement of metal bands , cervical matrixes, and crowns preparations.Excellent handling properties make it easy to place for class V composite restorations, cementation and scaling in periodontic cases. Effectively stops minor gingival bleeding. Unlike iodine it stops the blood and can take care of minor wound with the same strength like iodine. But it does not hurt when comes with a reaction with a wound, does not have a strong odor that can be very unpleasant. And does not leave yellow-brownish color on the skin after drying. The cavity is first cleaned by pushing a gel that prepares the surface to accept the resin infiltrant through the perforated sheet.
