Ceramic & Porcelain Repair Kit

Ceramic & Porcelain Repair Kit repair systems allow a dentist to fix crowns and bridges that have been damaged. These repair systems may work on ceramics and composite resins in addition to porcelain.  Some type of curing will be necessary to set the repair.

The opaquer should have a smooth consistency and should appear homogeneous.  Studies have demonstrated that Silane when used with Porcelain Etch. A quality bonding resin, yields the highest bond strength to porcelain when compared with other porcelain bonding products. Use it to etch porcelain or old macro filled composites prior to bonding. Hydrofluoric acid is so strong that it actually eats away the porcelain, creating “pits” and a rough area for the new coating to hold onto.
