Temporary Cements

Temporary Cements. The most common types are eugenol-based. Non-eugenol based, and resin-based.

The temporary cement used should provide adequate strength to retain the restoration during the function.  An acid-base reaction takes place with the formation of zinc eugenol chelate. Fusion Nano Coat provides an excellent gloss finish that is both smooth and stain-resistant. They have a good grip on both teeth and dental restorations.

The tough self-adhesive coating improves composite wear resistance and polish retention. The dentist then takes an impression of the filed tooth – as well as those above and below it. And sends these impressions to a dental laboratory for the creation of a permanent crown.
