Dental Burs

Dental Burs are most often used to grind away tooth tissue, usually enamel. The grinding motion of a  bur leaves a rough surface.  There can be a bewildering range of dental burs in any dental catalogue, but for basic veterinary use only a few bur are needed. All burs have a shank and a head.
